Killer cases, killer dreams.  It must be nearing Christmastime.

When happy, healthy, and well-adjusted people (so says the families) start dying for seemingly no reason, Veronica Pearl, Special Investigative Consultant in charge of the Southwest Region, has to wonder why.

As a government contract law enforcement officer, she is familiar with mysteries.  She is used to fighting bad guys during her waking hours, and demons in her dreams, protecting innocents on both planes to solve cases.

Soon, her special military and law enforcement connections start contacting her, sharing their concern about horrid dreams they are having.  Knowing her specialty is fighting evil through her own dreams, they look to her for answers… and help.

As if that isn't enough, she is given a gift certificate to a place that will allow her to actually see her dreams.  Does she trust letting someone connect to her brain to see her subconscious activities play out?  Can Veronica, Finn, Matt, and Danny stop any more deaths from occurring before it’s too late?
