Poems by Amelia is a selection of poems written by 9 year old Amelia Appleby, featuring the poem 'The Sky', which has been selected for publication in the Young Writers' Annual Showcase 2023 - Captivating Creations. Her first book of poems was written during Year 4 in Primary School, between the ages of 8 and 9 years. Exploring different genres through thirteen poems (from humour to fantasy), young children will enjoy this book along with its colourful illustration, supporting their reading development and creativity. Amelia hopes that you enjoy her poetry and to maybe inspire other children to write their very own!
