Indonesia and the Muslim World

This book explores the position of Islam as one of the domestic political variables in Indonesia's foreign policy. The author mainly draws on material from the New Order period when President Soeharto ruled Indonesia but brings in more recent material to demonstrate how Indonesian foreign policy is still shaped by the same forces in today's post-9/11 world.
