In the late 20th century, the Anderson University School of Theology faculty designed the content of the stained glass window as an aid for public and private worship. Prayerful thought was given to each word and symbol. In the early 21st century, the School of Theology faculty, through the ministry of proclamation, has attempted to interpret the message of the stained glass for a new generation. Each written sermon in this publication was presented in a live worshiping community. These were not theological papers but biblical sermons prepared as a part of worship. As the stained glass window continues to inspire our hearts, we trust this sermon series may inform our minds as we seek to keep our eyes on Jesus, the “author and perfecter of our faith.â€
