Presents an analytical summary of the third book of the "Fortalitium fidei" by the Franciscan friar Alonso de Espina (Castile, ca. 1458-1464). The entire work consists of five books dealing with the enemies of the Christian faith. Book three focuses on the Jews. The first six sections deal with the nature of the Jews and their arguments against the Christian religion. The next four sections describe the war carried out by Jews against Christianity. Section 11 deals with the obligations of the Jews in Christian society according to canon law, civil law, and royal legislation. Section 12 explains why the Jews will convert on the day of final judgment. Asserts that Espina, although he accepted the fact of Jews living in a Christian society, advocated complete separation from them. He considered the greatest danger to be the interaction between Christians and Jews as embodied in the Conversos. The expulsion and expropriation of the Jews was in his view the only true solution to preservation of the Christian world.
