INNOCENT

We must always remember the conscience of those who have fought to defend truth and peace in the world.

Freedom has never been a gift but has always been taken away from people with the forces of arms and thus, nations have been shaping their contemporary history.

Governments are necessary because societies sometimes behave without much logic and in a manner completely opposite to an orderly and logical system.

And when societies fall into those half-worlds where brutality is above reason and logic, then the intelligentsia comes forward with courage to say a few things.

The courage to speak the truth is always the courage that only the innocent have.

It is like the strange encounter between an emperor and a beggar, in which neither the observer nor the observed understand and agree on who is the beggar and who is the emperor.

There are people so worthless that they can boast of being emperors when the experience of their existence can only describe them as bandits, beggars and predators.

When you know what you want you will always find misunderstandings.

Everyone can easily pretend to be kind, honest or a good person, but in reality they are just more expensive.

This book is not for them, for these lines are only for winners.
