Female Labour Supply in Post-war Britain

Study of labour force participation trends for the woman worker in the UK, 1950 to 1974 - using the statistical method of cohort analysis, attempts to measure the effects of age, marriage, fertility, educational level, wage, wage differential, employment opportunity and the business cycle; concludes that a cohort's employment experience of the previous year appears to have a positive effect on subsequent work.
