The memory of words

The poems in this collection span my experiences and emotions from the time I grew up on a farm in Italy, during and just after World War II, through my schooling and university years till when I left for the United States of America. They explore the challenges, surprises, joys, disappointments and ideas that tested my youth and enriched it.
