Before the Earthquake

At the turn of the 20th century, a devastating earthquake destroys a small village in Italy. Concetta, 15, is seriously injured, and upon waking from her coma realizes that she cannot remember the weeks before the earthquake. Even worse, she is pregnant. After a hasty marriage to a neighboring family, Concetta, with the help of grieving signora Clara, sets out to discover the truth about those forgotten weeks.
