The Crusades

In the wake of the first Dark Ages Crusader ripping through modern day San Francisco, a second has inexplicably surfaced. Intrepid fact checker Venus Kostopikas has wound her way into the heart of this labyrinthine mystery, but may have trouble finding her way back out alive. Finding camaraderie in a creative anachronism society, Venus begins to appreciate the feel of cold steel in her palm. But as the perfect storm of mayhem, menace and metal boils over, Venus comes face to face with even greater threats... her marriage minded mother... and modernity.
