Makin' Do

Makin' Do is a book written to to be an encouragement, especially to young couples starting out. Through personal stories, I share information on preparation, how to cook from what you have, emergency management, home remedies, quick fixes, and not loosing hope in some very difficult situations. Author Kelly S. Garrett grew up in a small mid western town at a time that mothers stayed home with their kids and took care of the home while dad worked outside the home at his business or in the local factory. Her life experiences and 25 years as a Home Schooling mother give her some interesting insights in family self sufficiency.
