The book focuses on the development of individual and managerial competencies including: self-awareness, stress, creative problem solving, communication, motivation, leadership skills, conflict management and delegating decision making. A "Preview Case" at the beginning of each section provides the basis for understanding the importance of each concept presented to managers, professionals and other employees of the organization. In recognition of the global nature of the economy, an international theme is presented throughout the book. The work is divided into six parts.
