Urban Revisions

In this collection of essays, some of today's most innovative architects, urban designers, and planners reshape (re-vision) the physical and social space of the contemporary city. The projects represent a broad spectrum of ideologies and approaches that depart from accepted strategies of urban planning - all of them linking physical design to a compelling (and controversial) vision that takes into account contemporary social, cultural, technological, and ecological concerns.
