Atlas of Invertebrate Anatomy

Atlas of Invertebrate Anatomy
Preview available
This Atlas contains 475 fine biological drawings, many of them large format, of the external and internal anatomy of 80 species across the range of invertebrates. All are newly-drawn from specimens, and have not appeared elsewhere. They are detailed, accurate and fully-labelled. The drawings are accompanied by notes on the classification, life cycle and habitat of each species. In addition to a taxonomic index of all names used in the drawings and the notes, an anatomical index guides the user to developmental stages, mouthparts, dissections, histological sections and other kinds of views. Written principally for undergraduate and postgraduate students, the Atlas will form a practical reference for those in applied zoological and ecological work, and is commended to high school biology teachers and libraries.
