Ageing and Health

This publication provides a framework for selecting appropriate ways of approaching the tasks of improving quality of life, preventing disease and ensuring greater access to health services among older persons within the context of developing countries. It includes facts about the nature of chronic health problems in older persons and describes factors that contribute to the epidemic of noncommunicable and chronic disease and disability among the ageing.
