Estatecode

This publication contains best practice guidance for NHS organisations in England on all aspects of the management of their land and property. The guidance is organised in five parts relating to: i) an overview; ii) strategic issues including town planning and estate investment; iii) procurement of new facilities and services, with a summary of EU rules on procurement, together with an explanation of the private finance initiative (PFI), NHS local improvement finance trust (LIFT) and ProCure21 procurement methods; iv) acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold land and property; and v) management of land and property. This guidance reflects the organisational changes to the NHS and it supersedes the earlier edition of Estatecode first published in 2002 (ISBN 9780113225491)
