Indiscernibles in Arizona is a collection of unfiltered narratives of Black Arizonans. The impact of The Great Migration in Arizona has had little acknowledgement. Not being seen as migrants or refugees, African American Arizonans have been locked into an indiscernible status. In books, documentaries and scholarly articles, Black people in Arizona receive incidental consideration by historians as tangents to the stories of brown and white people. Aside from the glossing of American chattel slavery and the Civil Rights movement, nothing is taught about Black people in Arizona schools. The Indiscernibles in Arizona anthology is a facet of the ongoing multidisciplinary project "The Great Migration-Indiscernibles in Arizona".
