Raízes judaicas no Brasil

Publishes, in alphabetical order, the names of the Portuguese and Brazilian Conversos accused of Judaizing and sentenced by the Lisbon Inquisitorial tribunal, according to the auto-da-fe lists found in the Inquisition's archives. Includes personal data, the sentence, and the condemnation date for each of the victims. The introduction (pp. 17-32) describes the persecution of the Jews in Portugal, their forced conversion, and the anti-Converso campaign of the Inquisition in both Portugal and colonial Brazil.
