A comical mash-up of the paranormal, science, religion and politics, 7 THINGS takes you on a journey through life as seen from the eyes of a 23 year old Valley Girl who's "found religion." Effectively battling against the New Atheists and other skeptics of "spiritual phenomena," 7 THINGS delves into the biological processes underlying human perception to disprove the skeptics on their own favorite turf: science. By contrasting how humans perceive reality with the way animals perceive reality, 7 THINGS makes a compelling argument for why humans are more than just a sophisticated species of animal. Is life an illusion? Is reality subjective? Is it possible to know objective truth? All of these philosophical issues and more are humorously addressed by a ditzy airhead who shouldn't be able to tell the difference between her thumb and her middle finger. GOD - People who define reality based on what science has revealed and what can be detected with the five senses face three big barriers to understanding reality. LOVE - If you get out of bed in the morning and are motivated to do anything for any reason other than the pursuit of love, you are losing in the game of life. HEAVEN - Heaven is a lot better than you think it is. If you don't believe in Heaven, just ask someone who's already there. HELL - If you're on Xanax you know what Hell is like. Hell is like life without Xanax. PURGATORY - If you know what binging and purging is all about, then you know what Purgatory is all about. It's the exact same thing. SIN - Sin is the opposite of love. Sin is just being selfish. HOLINESS - Holiness is spiritual evolution. Holiness is just growing in love and compassion.
