When Brook Russell, a young, widowed mother of two accidentally witnesses a body being discarded, she is forced to ee her home in Florida. Unsure where to turn, she seeks safety and anonymity in NYC where she was born. Brook nds a fresh start at Freedom Finders, a Christian homeless shelter that also serves as a worship center, addiction recovery facility, and thrift store. Believing that 1000 miles is an ample safety zone, she soon discovers there is no place far enough to hide.
