Sociedades prehispánicas en el territorio "Quimbaya"

The word "quimbaya" bring to mind gold, treasures and "guacas", although it is also a referential genre for Pre-Hispanic ceramic and gold/silversmith artifacts of the region of the Mid-Cauca, the departments of Caldas, Risaralda and Quindio, a territory commonly known as the zone or region Quimbaya. The present edition explores the main aspects of the settlement patterns of the Pre-Hispanic human occupants of the region Quimbaya through the important findings of the excavation of the archaeological site "Complejo Tesorito" and is part of phase 1 of the research "Unidades Domésticas y Areas de Actividad en el Territorio "Quimbaya" held from October 2004 to January 2006 in the Field School center.
