The Electoral College and Proportionality

This book will mathematically demonstrate that the Electoral College, and not a nationwide popular vote, to elect the president is not only fair, but also is compatible with our republic form of government. There is no national office in America that is elected by popular vote. Imagine electing the Speaker of the House, confirming cabinet members, federal judges, etc., with a popular vote. In addition, the current system is replete with checks and balances to ensure that a fair, legal, and guarded process is followed in electing the president and vice president of the United States.
