The Voices Against Violence Research Project was cross-sectoral, undertaken between WDV, OPA and DVRCV. The project investigated the circumstances of women with disabilities of any kind (including physical disabilities, sensory disabilities, mental ill health and cognitive impairments) who have experienced violence. This paper is one of a series of publications for the Voices Against Violence Research Project. This paper explores barriers to justice in the context of an analysis of the effectiveness of the domestic legal frameworks for the protection of women with disabilities in Victoria who have experienced violence. Stakeholder interviews, which appear as ?practical perspectives? throughout this report, inform the practical awareness, understanding and application of these legal frameworks and highlight potential areas for improvement of access to justice for women with disabilities in Victoria who have experienced violence
