The World in the Time of Marco Polo

This series tells the story of eight historical personalities and looks at what was happening all around the world in their lifetimes. Each book includes a time line, to give the reader an outline of world events during each historical character's life, and a map, which shows some of the most important places mentioned in each book. Travel with this Italian explorer as he becomes the first European to completely cross Asia and document his experiences.
