Riding Out The Storm

Marissa Martin is 12 years old. Her life has changed as a result of her parents' recent separation. She has been given a lot more responsiblity in her home, including babysitting her active little brother, Roger. Out of nowhere Marissa begins hearing a strange silent voice in her head. The voice is one that provides Marissa with words of wisdom and reveals to her that the world and the people in it are more than what is visible to the eye.
