The Princess of Dan

The Princess of Dan is fiction, a novel which merges reality and vision, the present and prophecy. The main character, Sarah Danborne, grew up in the 1960s in the United States. During her early adult years, Sarahs life led her to Israel where she met other young women who had found themselves relocated and struggling to stabilize their lives and build homes in the context of a larger vision. Another primary character in the story is Danya. She and her friends live and breathe the Redemption. Strengthened by knowing their specific place and purpose, their personal struggles have developed into a common striving to help all humankind. As the novel unfolds, a mysterious connection between Sarah and Danya is revealed. The novel is permeated by Kabbalistic and Chassidic teachings that inspire the characters and help define the meaning and purpose of life.
