A catalogue of inscribed stones in Cornwall, and neighboring areas, intended as a resource for scholars wishing to use Medieval artifacts to help illuminate the culture, religion, and society of early Christian Britain. Okasha (English, U. College, Cork, Ireland) constructs a systematic framework for classification, dating, translation, and interpretation. For 79 stones, she then provides the location, history of its study, a physical description, text(s), a discussion of the translation, classification and probable date, a bibliography, and a black- and-white photograph.
