The Brothers Valentine

The Brothers Valentine is Dan Wheeler's debut novel. It explores family, relationships, unconditional love, and substance abuse by following the lives of Abel and Chester Valentine, two brothers that have starkly different outlooks on life. Both, for their own reasons, move to New York City to give themselves a fresh start, but soon realise that the lives they were running towards may just be even more dangerous than the ones they were running away from.

The novel contains references to and storylines containing drug/alcohol use, psychological abuse, declining mental health and miscarriage. It is not recommended that the novel be read by any person for whom such subjects may be damaging.
