Turn of the Wheel

William Burns (1718-1806/1807) immigrated from Scotland to Prince Georges County, Maryland, and married Joanna Van Meter about 1752. They moved to land near Kearneysville, Virginia (now West Virginia). Descendants lived in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and elsewhere.
