Defeated! Depressed! Rejected! Do these words describe your life? Unfortunately, these words describe many believer's lives. We did not start our Christian walk wanting to succumb to the same old sins. Yet we know the victory is not ours. In fact, we are spiritually exhausted trying to overcome repeated sins. Our joy is gone. Now we are "veterans of war." We gave in to the false conclusion we will never overcome certain recurring sins. We have retired from battle and quit fi ghting the good fight. The Good News is that the blood of Jesus assures of us of victory. Isaiah tells us "He was bruised for our iniquities." Sins and repeated sins (iniquities) do not have to dominate our lives. Believers do not have to throw their hands up in defeat. The "truth" does not set us free. It is "knowing the truth" that sets us free. This book seeks to reveal the truth about iniquity. The veil has fi nally been lifted.
