Voltaire says that poetry is the music of the soul and Ezra Pound says that poetry should be spoken aloud so that we may experience the tone and rhythm, just as we do in music. We are each given our own individual music within ourselves and we all have a heart and soul that cry out to be heard. Poetry is a beautiful means of expression. Poetry is truth.
