Dorothy Gale has twice saved the people of Oz from the evil machinations of her own family: first from her power-mad twin sisters, Zinna and Lynessa, and then again when her mother, the arch-witch Zamora, returned from the dead to enslave the Realm of Hope. With the help of her allies--Thorne, Scarecrow, Smynth, Adraste, and Toto--Dorothy prevailed and realized her own growing magical power. 

Yet their victory is short-lived. 

When Zamora and Warlord return with new allies to threaten the Emerald City itself, Dorothy and company must take the attack to their enemy, concocting a desperate plan to separate Zamora from her most powerful allies.
