Sarah's People

George Zophel was born in 1634 in Saxony, Germany. He married three times and had seven children. He died in 1694 in Hasselbach, Germany. Descendant Sarah Shufelt, daughter of Orin Shufelt and Emily Wilbur, was born in 1881 in Poygan, Wisconsin. She married Harry Rupple in 1902. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
