Brookwater's Curse

Christian Brookwater, a former Georgia plantation slave, has become a vampire during the 1860s. Now, the vampire nation is caught in a civil war, pitting the self-serving power monger Founding Fathers of Vampirism against Lord Tanata, who leads the deadly samurai vampires. Christian sides with Lord Tanata, but uncovers many horrible secrets which will not only change the course of the war, but will have a startling impact on everyone he cares about.
