His Honour, and a Lady (Illustrated Edition)

Duncan (1861-1922) was a Canadian author and journalist whose work often appeared under the name Mrs Everard Cotes. After her marriage to an Anglo-Indian civil servant who later took up journalism she divided her time between England and India and many of her novels, including this work first published in 1896, take Anglo-Indian society as their setting.
