Chroniques

This volume contains the first part of a new, comprehensive edition of the third book of Jean Froissart's Chroniques (with two more volumes to be published in the future). The text is preceded by a historical and literary introduction and complemented by a codicological study of its original manuscript, which focuses on the scribes and the illustration program. The volume also includes annotations, maps, genealogical tables, color photographs, a glossary and indices of names and places. French text.
