Romanian Traditional Musical Instruments in the Context of the Family of Musical Instruments

This book presents aspects of the oral culture of Romanians, and some traditional musical instruments, as yet unknown on a global level. The book highlights the constructive evolution of these musical instruments over time and the interferences that contributed to their spread. A large number of unique photographs are included, which are "witnesses" of past or disappearing cultural events.

The book will be of interest not only to those specialized in the musical field (musicological researchers, ethnographers, musical instrumentalists, instrument collectors), but also non-specialists.
