From woman to WOWman

Triumph comes to them who are relentlessly striving for it. This is not a triumph over any war but for an identity. As woman in Indian society, we forget that we exist too. What a woman wants is something less attended to and least asked about. To bottle up our sentiments, to cut throat of our wishes and to live a life that others choose for us is what we have been made accustomed to. And it’s time we put an end to that.

This accumulation of poems try to reach to different aspects of a woman’s life and with its lucid words, it tries to touch the chord of every woman who has still the faith that “She should Live a Life of her own”.

Life is too short a story to just feel sorry for and this book clearly depicts that in its rhyme and essence. It strongly echoes the vibration each woman somewhere feels in her which asks their alter ego- What I am living for. Am I a human or just a possession? Why do I need a consent in every move I make and the list goes…
