Pupils, Potholes & Poor Relief

Although only overseeing the almshouses today, for four hundred years The Wantage Town Lands charity owned land in the area around Wantage, ran the Grammar School until it was taken on by the State, repaired the town's roads and performed many tasks to support and sustain the poor of Wantage.
