None of Your Damn Business, a story about Yang Huanyi, the last writer of the Chinese women's secret language "Nushu", is written in shorthand, the secret language of former stenographers. Its curves and arabesques closely resemble Islamic script whose celebrated practitioners are exclusively men. This book is dedicated to all who by dint of necessity or for the sheer mischief of it, write their own secret language.
