Securing a Peaceful Pacific

Based on an international conference held in New Zealand in 2004, the essays in this book seek to answer why the Pacific has experienced growing levels of conflict and political instability in recent years, what has been the impact on Pacific peoples, and what can be done to avoid further conflict.
