Michelle Frapiana is a beautiful young woman, mother to an innocent daughter, whose life in her childhood home of Savannah, Georgia is a miserable, day-to-day existence. Tortured by her former husband's murderous drug dealings, which resulted in his being gunned-down on the beaches of Destin, Florida, the previous year, she attempts unsuccessfully to cope with the knowledge of his crimes while trying to re-establish her life. Adding to her shame is her fear that Mexican drug cartels may some day come searching for the money her husband stole from them - money she knows nothing about. Or does she? When they finally come, she desperately solicits the help of an Atlanta-based DEA agent who had tracked her husband during his crime spree. Together they travel from Savannah to Houston, Texas, trying to unravel the mystery of what happened to the millions her husband stole, while fending off the drug cartel's bounty hunters who have come to destroy her life.
