"Royal Jhallesvar Paintings of the Floating Desert" features sixty-five paintings depicting ten centuries of history of the Jhala Royal Dynasty of Halvad-Dhrangadhra in the modern Indian state of Gujarat. The paintings all belong to the personal collection of Dr. H. H. 47th Jhallesvar Maharaja Sriraj Jayasinhji of Halvad-Dhrangadhra, the author of the book. The book was edited by photographer Alex Goldblum.
