Kurgans on the Left Bank of the Ilek

Explores the 1990 survey and 1991-1992 excavations at Pokrovka in the southern Ural Steppes of Russia on the Kazakhstan border. These excavations focused on the skeletal remains from the cemetery, defining age and sex profiles, types of grave goods, kurgan architecture and type of burial chamber.
