Illustrated Incumbered Estates, Ireland, 1850-1905

The Incumbered Estates Acts were passed in 1848-1850 to oversee the sale of estates which had been bankrupted by the famine. The illustrations are copies of those made at the time of the sale, accompanied by descriptive particulars, rateable valuations, date of sale, and occupancy after the sale.
