New England to Iowa

Francis Purdy, son of John Purdy and Elizabeth, was born in York, Yorkshire, England between 1610 and 1616. He immigrated to America, date not listed, settling in Fairfield, Connecticut. He married Mary Brundish, daughter of Rachel Brundish, date not established. They had 5 children. Francis died in 1658 in Fairfield. Their descendants have lived in Connecticut, New York, Illinois, Michigan, and other areas in the United States.
