Abandoned on Everest

A prequel to Murder on Everest, Abandoned on Everest is written by one of the characters, a fictional tabloid reporter named Quentin Stern. His sleazy account of events occurring on Everest the previous year claims that Derek Sodoc, the wealthy and famous mountaineering son of international media tycoon, Michael Sodoc, was abandoned to his death near the Everest summit.
