After being thrown in prison for preaching of God in the town square, Amulek must rely on his new found faith that his family will be spared the evil running rampant through the city. Little does he know that this is only the beginning of his family's trials.
Tabitha flees with her children in order to save their lives, leaving her husband at the mercy of the courts. Not knowing if she will ever see Amulek again and with no possessions to her name, she fears they will never find a place to settle or call their own.
