The Wire Donkey

In this coming-of-age novel, twenty-year-old Ocean Gebthart has no gf, no car, and his job stacking produce is in question. Plus he must watch his good works project--Oregon Organ Donors League--blow up. He has to leave town. And he does in the company of an older, wise woman. By turns sacred and secular, Ocean journeys to discover his calling in life, riding his wire donkey across a Rose City known for beer, bikes, and books.
