Les scellés de l'Affaire Dreyfus

Presents the catalog containing an inventory of documents pertaining to the Dreyfus Affair recently discovered in the Musee de l'Histoire de la France. Includes notes from Dreyfus' student years at the Ecole de Guerre (1890-92) and his travel notes. Examines the reasons that certain confidential documents, such as these, were requisitioned from the Dreyfus home by the French Court of Appeals in 1894 but never returned. The introduction (pp. 7-16) analyzes the Dreyfus Affair in the context of the tension which characterized French-German relations during that period.
